Former South Carolina women's basketball star A'ja Wilson had a record-breaking regular season for the Las Vegas Aces.
She broke the WNBA single-season scoring record and became the first player to score 1,000 points in a season.
Wilson finished the regular season with 1,021 points and also broke the WNBA records for points per game average (26.9) and rebounds (451).
"This league is tough, so if my name can be in the record books in some way, that's a blessing," Wilson said.
What's next for Wilson and the Aces? The WNBA playoffs.
The Aces are the No. 4 seed and will face the No. 5 seed Seattle Storm in a three-game series. Game 1 is Sunday (10 p.m., ESPN) at Michelob ULTRA Stadium in Las Vegas.
