At the rally, she expressed her support for Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris, citing her identity as a woman as a driving factor in her decision.

Gaines, who hosts the "Gaines for Girls" podcast, joined a lineup of speakers that included Republican Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake and GOP Arizona Reps.

One of the issues Gaines emphasized was the Democrats' position on gender-affirming surgery. She criticized the party's stance, stating, "They don't believe in school choice; they don't believe in parental rights or the safeguarding of children; they don't believe in freedom unless it's the freedom to have an abortion or chemically and surgically castrate children."

Gaines also took aim at the Democratic support for transgender rights, particularly in the context of sports. She highlighted her experience competing against Lia Thomas, a transgender swimming competitor, at the 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

Gaines and four other NCAA All-American women athletes have filed a lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), alleging that the association knowingly violated Title IX by allowing Thomas to compete.

The lawsuit and Gaines' testimony in Georgia will shed light on the impact of allowing biological males to compete in women's sports and the potential harm it can cause to female athletes.

Gaines and her fellow athletes will share their experiences of competing against Thomas and the challenges they faced, including sharing a locker room with a biological male.

Gaines' decision to speak at the Trump rally and her involvement in the lawsuit reflect her commitment to advocating for women's rights, particularly in the realm of sports.

Her actions have sparked important conversations about fairness and equity in athletic competition, and her testimony will contribute to a broader dialogue about the intersection of gender identity and sports participation.

As Gaines continues to be a vocal advocate for women's rights, her influence extends beyond the realm of athletics. By leveraging her platform as a former collegiate athlete and media contributor, she is amplifying the voices of women who are impacted by policies and decisions that affect their opportunities and experiences.

In standing up for what she believes in and speaking out against injustices, Riley Gaines exemplifies the power of individual agency in effecting change. Her actions serve as a reminder that every voice has the potential to shape conversations, challenge norms, and drive progress toward a more equitable future for all.
